The main house is approached through a large ornate sliding gate and the main house is independently fenced from the kennel area. The house has been well designed and the living accommodation flows very well for excellent family living. The front door leads into a very large, spacious and welcoming entrance hall (10m x 2m). From here all the living accommodation is accessed. There are three double bedrooms (each of 5m x 4m), every bedroom has its own en-suite. At the end of the hallway you approach the master suite (8m x 6m), the master bedroom has patio doors onto its own terrace area, from the bedroom you then enter the dressing room and from here into the en-suite that is fitted with toilet, sink, free standing bath and separate shower cubicle. From here there are doors to the newly constructed lounge which in turn has two sets of doors leading onto the pool and terrace area. A wall divides the two areas although it is possible to swim between them both. The second half of the pool is 7m x 4m and this is 2m in depth so plenty of depth for diving.
The kennels are approached on a short driveway from the house leading to the rear property where there is plenty of parking. As soon as you arrive at the kennels you are greeted by numerous inquisitive faces who certainly make you feel welcome!!! The first thing that strikes you is how large each of the kennels are and how clean the whole area is. There are 43 kennels and these all vary in size to accommodate all families of dogs. Each kennel is fully secure, there is full lighting, heating during the cooler months of the year and the dogs are not only exercised and looked after daily they are also entertained by music that is played throughout the day ensuring a complete relaxed homely atmosphere!! Additionally there are also 3 large outside runs that are in continual use. Entering into a small welcoming courtyard area into the kennelling area, this in turn leads into the hallway from which you access the kitchen, toilets and also the vets room. There is a weekly vet clinic and the local vet is also on hand 24 hours a day should any of the animals require attention. The kennels are fully licenced and have all necessary documentation for a fully legal business. They owners hold a full zoo licence so it would be possible to increase the business to cater for other animals or indeed to extend the business to include a cattery.
The business was created five years ago and has grown year on year to its current status where it has in excess of 900 clients of all nationalities. They are without a doubt the most renowned kennels in the area with a reputation that is second to none. A vast majority of the kennel business is repeat use or via recommendation, indeed they are so well thought of that by July they are fully booked for the Christmas period.
In addition to the above there is a further building that houses the outside summer kitchen with a small room off that is used for the 2 solar systems that are used to supply power to the house and kennels. There is a 48volt system for the house and a 24volt system for the kennels. Underneath this area there are two water deposits, the water deposit for the house holds 32,000litres and the one of the kennel holds 18,000litres. To the front of the property there is also a garage / storage room and a two car car-port. The phone is supplied via a microwave system and as there is a mast for the area located on the plot, the owners receive an annual fixed fee from the system providers as ground rent and also receive the majority of their calls free.
