As is typical in Spanish houses, the ground floor was historically used for housing the animals and their feed. Therefore upon entering the house through the front door you will find several rooms which have dirt floors and bare stone walls. However, don't be put off by this because the house has a lot of charm and character and is being offered for sale at a great price for anyone wishing to take on a fairly easy renovation project. There are 4 rooms altogether on the ground floor with beamed ceilings and original feeding troughs which some people often leave in when renovating, to create a feature. The whole ground floor can be converted into a habitable living space with a bit of work and very little expenditure. The current owner has also put forward an idea that one could flatten the outbuilding and build a couple of new houses on the land. This would of course be subject to planning permission, however because it's urban land this should be achievable. Alternatively the land could be utilised to install a swimming pool. There are a lot of possibilities with this property. So the accommodation consists of the following: from the front door you enter a hallway and to the left is a downstairs W.C. Behind that is the bathroom with bath, toilet and washbasin and there are a further 4 large rooms to renovate. The stairs to the first floor are on the right of the front door. At the top of the stairs you can go three ways; to the left is a lounge which has a patio door leading onto a small balcony which overlooks the street in front of the property. There are stairs from the lounge going up to the roof terrace which used to be the second floor. Behind the lounge is the first bedroom. Directly ahead of you at the top of the stairs is another bedroom. Going right at the top of the stairs takes you into the dining room and beyond that is the kitchen. There is a door at the far end of the kitchen which opens onto the roof of the outbuilding and provides a great terrace where you can dine al-fresco and admire the view. Also leading off from the dining room are two further bedrooms. The property used to be on 3 floors however, the current owner has removed the roof to create a large roof terrace. If anyone wished to rebuild the top floor this is entirely possible and would of course create even more accommodation. The views from the terrace are great, taking in the village and the surrounding hillsides and out towards the lake Negratín. The roof terrace is quite private and has plenty of room for a BBQ, table and chairs and sun loungers. Going down to the ground floor again there is a rear entrance which takes you to the land and the large outbuilding. You get a lot for your money with this property and it offers a lot of potential.
